The God Who Will Be

When I first entered the Christian world, I was very surprised to discover the amount of enthusiasm that people had for the great, “I Am.” The reason why I was so surprised, was because God did not use the past, or completed, tense when referring to Himself through the burning bush. He used the future tense. The correct translation of how God identified Himself, is to say the, “I Will Be.” He will be who He will be. The implications of this are very profound. Not because of the great investment people have made in the, “I Am,” but because of what He told us about who He is and how He relates to us. The follow up to this program is The Name of God.
